Your motorbike has been overheating for some time... And you sometimes find yourself with coolant coming out of the overflow of your expansion tank!

Usually the first cause that comes to mind is that the cylinder head gasket has simply failed.

And it is true that this can be a reason, but unless you are mistreating your bike, these days head gaskets that broke are becoming increasingly rare.

So before you dismantle everything and leave your savings behind, have you considered checking your radiator cap?

If this plug is defective, it either does not open when the pressure increases, or, conversely, it remains open and no longer seals.

Radiator caps are set to open when the pressure in the radiator reaches a value defined by the manufacturer. This pressure then evacuates the liquid in the tank. And conversely, when the system cools down, a vacuum is created and the liquid flows back into the radiator, etc.

So, to save you from having an unusable motorbike in the garage because you have to choose between the kids' holiday and expensive (and possibly unnecessary) repairs, we offer you these radiator caps.

You can choose between several opening values, ranging from 1.3 to 2 bars.

The simple solution we wish you to have! This way, you will not have any excuses not to give your kids ice cream!
