These days, many motorcycles come equipped with mounting points for swingarm spools - those little pucks you need to use certain paddock stands. But plenty of models still don’t have them.

And yet, for maintaining your chain, removing the rear wheel, checking your oil level or simply cleaning your bike, spools are incredibly handy. They make it much easier to position the paddock stand, especially when you’re working alone, and they offer much better stability.

To allow you to use a V-type paddock stand, AVDB offers these brackets that directly replace your bike’s original chain adjuster plates.

In other words, the supplied plates will replace the ones currently installed on your motorcycle. You’ll just need to remove your rear axle to install them.

Be careful : You may need to readjust your chain tension after installation.
