Universal fork oil syringe kit
More and more of you are tinkering with your machines, when technically it's still possible to do so without going to a professional.
Even so, you often need special tools to avoid getting stuck for hours on an operation that would normally take a few minutes.
To simplify your maintenance and repair operations, AVDB offers you a range of small, practical tools, whether for draining your forks, bleeding your brake fluid or disassembling/reassembling your clutch cover, etc.
You'll have no more excuses for not going to the family dinner at Mother-in-Law's just because your oil change is taking longer than expected!
The famous fork oil change and/or replacement of the o-ring seals, which are so worn they're happily dripping onto the discs and pads...
But once the fork has been reassembled, it's time to put the oil back in.....
And there are 2 schools of thought here, if you have both measurements...
Either you only have the quantity of oil per tube, and in this case, make sure that the fork is really empty, otherwise you'll end up with an incorrect level.
Or you have the level measurement, in which case this tool will come in very handy.
A fork works with a given oil level to ensure it performs throughout its entire range of use.
You can measure this level with a calliper or a small ruler, but this isn't the quickest or most accurate way, because you really need to get it right when adding or removing oil.
With this oil level kit, you don't have to. All you have to do is add a little more oil, adjust the level to the correct measurement using the ring tightened on the rod, and vacuum.
Once you've reached the right level, the syringe won't vacuum up any more and the level will be perfect.
Even so, changing the oil in a fork, especially when replacing o-ring seals, is not a trivial operation and requires a great deal of skill and know-how.
You'll be affecting the geometry of the bike, so don't hesitate to ask a professional for help if you're not sure!
