“Crash-Bar” type tubular protections for engine specific for KAWASAKI :
KLE 650 VERSYS 2007 - 2014
Who has never fallen off a motorbike?
Every biker knows how much damage a crash can do to an engine!
Even at low speeds, hitting a pavement edge is enough to open an engine like a book, or break a crankcase in the best case, letting your 4 litres of oil spill out and a good handful of gravel in.
And in general, an engine running without oil and with gravel is never very "mechanically" advisable. It often ends up with the obligation to replace the engine and to give up the holiday at the sea...
To prevent this from happening, we offer a range of "crash bars".
Made of steel tubes, powder-coated, they will resist both bitumen and time.
They are designed to be mounted on existing fixing points in the frame for greater strength and rigidity.
If motorbike schools use this kind of protection, and have done so for decades, it is probably because there is no better way...
Tip : To prevent the fixing screws from seizing up and the bars from becoming undetachable over time, do not forget to grease the threads of the new screws. When tightening the screws from the original anchor points, please refer to the tightening torque indicated by the manufacturer.
