This kit is the perfect accessory to prevent this kind of bad situations and, in the event of a fall, it will allow you to sacrifice a Teflon pad, intended for this very use, and which will be much less expensive than a buying a new fork...
Specific to the mentioned models, these protective pads are designed for an easy and direct mounting through the front wheel, allowing you to efficiently protect your fork without any modification to be made when installing them. All you need is an Hex Key to tighten up each side, no need to disassemble the wheel to mount these sliders. A fairly simple manipulation that does not require special tools or skills !
This protection is composed of :
- a shaft threaded at both ends
- two aluminum / teflon pads, the perfect compromise between look (the anodised aluminum ring) and protection (the Teflon tip for shock absorption)
Very good quality of manufacture and finish, with an anodizing of the aluminum part guaranteed 6 months.
