A machined part takes shape from a rough block of material, in this case aluminium. The part therefore comes in one block and cannot have any internal imperfections. Thanks to finer machining, the part is also lighter. This machining gives the part a much more dynamic and precise feel when it comes to steering.

These parts are often originally moulded. There may therefore be imperfections, air bubbles and other visible or invisible defects in the part. The rigidity of the part is also lower due to the moulding process and the density of the injected metal.

In itself, this is not a problem for normal use, but it can pose a problem for intensive use. Not necessarily problems of breakage, but above all of rigidity.
