Since 1972, the Japanese company TOURMAX has been developing its expertise in motorbike parts. Recognised for the quality of its products, the brand has become a symbol of reliability.
With its wide range of spare parts for motorbikes and quads, TOURMAX is today a major player in quality OEM and aftermarket products.
The best ally of professional mechanics or amateur mechanics, TOURMAX parts will bring you satisfaction for sure.
Everyone knows what a bearing is, without knowing all the existing models.
On a motorbike or scooter, they are rarely very large, but can cause major problems if worn. In simple terms, they allow 2 parts to rotate freely in relation to each other.
However, when a bearing wears out, the parts can take up play, the rotation can be less fluid, have hard points and can, in some cases, be dangerous.
The big problem is that the bearing is sneaky. It wears down little by little, and if you ride your bike every day, you don't necessarily realise it, because you get used to it little by little too.
So if your bike wobbles, if it's hard to turn, if you feel any discomfort when braking, it's quite possible that you've got a bearing that's showing signs of weakness.
So before you go to the scrapyard and damage other parts (in the best case), or even hit the pavement (in the worst case), remember to check the condition of your bearings!
AVDB has just brought you a complete range of bearings, whether for wheels, front or rear, steering or swingarm.
These TOURMAX bearings have all the original features and quality, for reliability and longevity equivalent to OEM bearings.
Swingarm bearings:
You might not think about it because it's not a part you often dismantle, but as its name suggests, the swingarm has to...swing properly.
Bearings are subject to great stress and the elements.
There are seals, but over time they wear out and allow moisture, dust and other small dirt to pass through.
Especially as few people, even in workshops, dismantle the arms to check, clean and grease everything.
You don't always realise it, but play can appear and the ride can be affected. And in general, it's not a pretty sight when you take it apart...
We therefore offer bearing kits to enable you to replace worn and/or rusted bearings.
Made by TOURMAX, they are of excellent quality and will enable you to replace all the bearings on the swingarm axle.
In some cases, O-ring seals are supplied.
However, the spacers are not supplied.
Caution: Replacing bearings may require certain skills. If you're not sure and equipped, leave it to a professional!
And above all, check that your spacers are not marked, otherwise new bearings won't last long.
