When you want to convert your off road or enduro bike into a supermotard for asphalt riding, the very first step is to replace the wheels.

While an off road bike needs large wheels for better stability on bumpy surfaces, a supermoto needs maneuverability and tyres that are made for maximum grip on tarmac.

17-inch supermoto rims give you this kind of handling, and their dimensions will offer you a large choice of tyres (whose compatibility with the rim is listed above), whether you ride only on the road or only on the track.

However, when choosing your rear tyre, you should of course make sure that your swingarm can support the width of the tyre you plan to fit !
